Flamingo Wood Burning Stove

As its name suggests, wood burning stoves are only appropriate for the burning of wood, whereas multi-fuel stoves are also capable of burning coal. These stoves come with a grate to enable easy collection of the extra ash that is produced by the burning coal. This makes using a wood burning stove for heating a room far more eco-friendly.

In comparison with gas fires, wood burners are an excellent source of heat. Gas fires are great, and make a great focal point for any room they are in, but if you are looking for the optimum performance, you can't beat a wood burning stove. You may find that wood burners take slightly longer to heat up; however, once they are going they tend to give out an incredible amount of heat.
